A Present for my James

I was tidying up this week, and I thought it was about time I send my birthday cards to the recycling. Having a last look at them all, I came across one that James adored.

I thought maybe he could have the picture. So I found a sheet of white foam and went about drawing and cutting a frame for it.

 Seems to fit. A bit boring though. So I got some paint. I painted this on a sheet:

Then I put the frame face down in the paint, pressed it down and peeled it off.

Looks alright, but I thought I'd just touch it up a little, making a few more swirls and stuff with my brush.

Then I just had to wait for it to dry and glue the frame to the picture. Voila!
